Our Network in California

Findhelp is the largest network of free & reduced-cost social services in the United States with over 1.7 million users in California searching for services like medical care, food, job training, and more. We help them find those services and connect to the organizations that provide them.

As we experience unprecedented levels of unemployment, food insecurity, sickness, and general adversity, we want to highlight the positive impact of our statewide network and affirm our commitment to helping all Californians in need.

What is findhelp?

At findhelp, we created a social care network that connects people and programs — making it easy for people to find social services in their communities, for nonprofits to coordinate their efforts, and for customers to integrate social care into the work they already do. 

We support thousands of nonprofits by providing completely free access to our toolkit, which gives community organizations the ability to manage their program listings on our network, track referrals, manage team capacity, report on outcomes, and more.

Our Footprint in California

We’ve led a decade-long journey to build the largest and most widely used social care network in the country, with over 1,500 resources serving each and every county. By engaging with nonprofits in California,  there are more than 37,000 programs (and growing!) listed in our local network.

Searches for Help in California

With more than 1.7 million unique users in California, we have a growing amount of data that shows the demand for services by category, throughout the state.

These searches come from people in need, nonprofits and government agencies, or from any one of our California customers, including Aetna Better Health of California, Anthem Blue Cross, Health Net, LA Care, and Inland SoCal 2-1-1 .

Findhelp #1 'Best in KLAS' for SDoH Networks for Second Year

 

KLAS Research, a healthcare IT evaluator who provides 'accurate, honest and impartial' analysis based on extensive reviews with healthcare users, has awarded findhelp the Best in KLAS designation for social determinants of health (SDoH) networks.

 

For two years, KLAS Research has evaluated SDoH vendors and in both years, findhelp has received the top award. In this year’s report, findhelp earned a score of 89.4 out of 100, surpassing all other SDoH vendors.
